New Omap constantly collaborates with its partners to offer the most efficient and innovative solutions based on their needs.
Investing in structural energy efficiency measures represents, today, one of the essential tools to keep up with a constantly evolving market. In this sense, energy management proves to be a determining factor, capable of impacting production efficiency and company development. Biosigma S.p.A, active since 1988 in the production and distribution of plastic materials for sectors such as diagnostics, clinical chemistry, biotechnology, pharmaceuticals and analysis and research laboratories, is an excellent example of the adoption of organizational criteria in line with a development characterized by sustainability and growth. In fact, in the early 2000s, to increase productivity and reduce costs incurred, the company installed a high-efficiency New Omap plastic granule dehumidification and distribution system in its molding department of over 12,000 m2.
The implementation of technological solutions aimed at energy efficiency has had a positive impact on operational efficiency, thanks to the introduction of more effective monitoring strategies and better preventive maintenance practices.

In particular, the system upgrade involved:

- The elimination of the effects due to wear;
- Software update with integrated management interface;
- Better control of product quality;
More efficient workforce management.

The benefits were immediately tangible, with a 30% reduction in the power delivered by the inverters, going from 60 to 40 Hz. This result also takes into account the 25% expansion of the system, allowing for an extremely rapid return on investment. Machinery and solutions that exploit the latest generation technologies, combined with preventive maintenance, allow us to maintain high operational efficiency and, at the same time, manage costs more precisely and reduce waste.
New Omap is fully committed to ensuring that its partners always make use of advanced and sustainable technical solutions, in order to maximize their production potential and remain in tune with the rhythms of technological evolution.
