New Omap's contribution to the circular economy
Plastics make a significant contribution to a circular economy when their entire life cycle is examined. The unique characteristics of plastics allow them to play an important role on the road to a more sustainable and resource-efficient future. In strategic sectors ranging from packaging, building and construction, automotive and renewable energy, to name just a few, light, versatile and durable plastics are in fact a valuable aid to help us save key resources such as energy and water. What’s more, the use of plastic in packaging can help reduce food waste.
New Omap is actively involved in improving our understanding of product benefits to help make more informed circular economy decisions. To this end, in addition to focussing on ongoing staff training, sharing our partners’ objectives, and listening closely to our clients’ production needs, we also make our machinery available to national and European laboratories researching sustainable materials: this is what “never stop innovating” means to us.
