The NEB.E.S. (Nebula Energy Saving) project was successfully completed, leading to the development of a new generation of highly energy-efficient integrated control systems, designed to improve operational performance and expand service and market opportunities.

 

The activities carried out enabled a complete re-engineering of both the hardware and software architecture, including the rationalization of the control boards, the introduction of GSM connectivity in addition to the existing Wi-Fi and LAN connections, and a significant enhancement of the management and monitoring software.

The resulting system is more compact, reliable, and flexible, and is designed to support future technological upgrades.

 

The project was structured into six operational phases covering the entire development cycle: from requirements analysis and hardware design to firmware and software development, prototyping, field testing in real-world environments, and dissemination of the project results. This structured approach ensured the technical validation of the solutions and the achievement of the system’s efficiency and integration goals.

 

With an overall duration of 18 months, NEB.E.S. represented an innovation-driven pathway focused on the digitalization of control systems, the optimization of energy consumption, and the development of scalable solutions ready for industrialization, thereby strengthening the company’s competitiveness within its reference market sector.
